Founded in 1995 as part of FDUV, an organisation representing people with intellectual disabilities, this service produces adapted learning resources and easy-to-read materials in Swedish. It supports people with intellectual disabilities or similar needs, with materials and guidance for educators, social-sector staff and relatives. Funding comes from the Finnish National Agency for Education and Swedish-Finnish foundations.
The materials bank can be used without logging in. Its own learning resources are sold through an online shop, and adapted materials are also presented in exhibitions. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
