Parents of disabled children founded the national association in 1997. Families can join regardless of diagnosis or municipality. Activities include peer meetings, events and groups for music, dance, toddler music and swimming.
Members can book its family lounge for occasions such as children's birthdays. An adaptive sports equipment lending point includes adapted bicycles and skating supports. The association also maintains an information website for families and undertakes advocacy. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
