The association promotes operating conditions for the packaging sector and coordinates cooperation between businesses and other organisations. It represents the full packaging chain in developing legislation with public authorities. Its trade magazine Pakkaus, founded in 1964, appears six times a year.
Industry news is published on pakkausuutiset.com and in a weekly newsletter. A procurement guide to packaging products and services is available in print and online. The association organises training and events and accepts membership applications.
