This workplace sickness fund pays statutory benefits under the Finnish Sickness Insurance Act and additional benefits under its own rules. Members are mainly employees and pensioners of UPM's Jokilaakso mills. Its roots go back to sickness fund activity at a paper mill in 1902. The Kaipola fund began in 1953, and the two funds merged in 1999.
The entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
