Founded in 2010 through the merger of two student unions, this representative and service organisation serves university bachelor's and master's students. Advocacy includes an elected student council and board. Activities cover student events, clubs, community activities and SYKETTÄ university sports.
Services include premises hire, equipment lending, language cafés and buddy cafés. International services and English-language information are available. The union publishes a student magazine and newsletters. The location is at the University of Eastern Finland and has no accessible toilet.
