The union represents private service-sector workers and negotiates around 30 collective agreements. Members include retail workers, cleaners, waiters, cooks, property maintenance staff, security guards and delivery drivers. It represents them in matters such as pay, working hours, annual leave and dismissal.
Shop stewards and employment advisers help with workplace questions. Membership gives access to an unemployment fund, career support and training. The online learning environment offers courses, while the member portal handles contact details, membership payments and unpaid leave notifications. Student membership is also available.
