Founded in 1969, the voluntary association promotes equality and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and their families. It advocates for their interests, belongs to the national support federation and works with other disability organisations.
Activities include outings, recreation, leisure activities and information sessions on topics such as the EU Disability Card and disability-services legislation. Membership is open to people with intellectual disabilities and their relatives. Legal advice is available from the national federation's lawyers.
