This SOS-Lapsikylä meeting place brings families with children together with volunteer substitute grandparents of different ages. Participants cook, eat, play games, do crafts and enjoy free play. All local families can join, and parents can find peer support.
Children attend with a parent or another trusted adult, and an organisation employee is always present. First-time visitors should message the organisation before attending. Volunteers receive induction, training and continuing support.
