Founded in 1982, the student association brings together forestry students from different specialisations at the University of Eastern Finland. A board handles activities and representation, and all members can stand for election.
Students can join with their intake at the start of their studies or individually later. Activities include interdisciplinary skiing and May Day rowing events, plus a forest management planning course that seeks forest properties for student projects. Overall patches and other merchandise are sold through Kide.app.
