The regional branch of Finland's agricultural producers' and forest owners' union advocates for farmers, forest owners and rural entrepreneurs in North Karelia. It comprises 13 local associations and five associate members. Its work considers rural viability, the environment and consumers.
Members can use the Oiva online portal, electronic membership card and app. The association organises member meetings and benefits. Staff include an executive director, an organisation specialist and a rural youth representative.
