The volunteer, non-partisan association helps older people in North Karelia with basic IT skills and computer problems. Older volunteer tutors guide fellow seniors in computer and internet use. Activities include guidance locations, groups, community meetings and home visits aimed at reducing loneliness among older people living at home.
SeniorSurf remote guidance can be requested by phone or form from anywhere in Finland. Guidance times are published online. People can join as members or volunteer tutors. The association also supports keeping paper mail available for official dealings.
