Founded in 1955, the regional association brings together engineers and building architects in North Karelia. Its more than 800 members include employees, self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs. It represents common interests, promotes technical development and organises social recreation.
Many member services and advocacy come through the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland. Partners include engineering associations in eastern and southeastern Finland, regional Akava activities and the local engineering students' association. The office is on the second floor, with access from the market-square side.
