The regional hunters' association for North Karelia represents hunters' interests, contributes to hunting legislation discussions and supports game management. Activities include hunting camps for ages 10–14, training for hunting-shooting ABC instructors and an annual small-predator campaign for members and member clubs.
Member services are accessed through OmaJahti. The website publishes news, contacts, minutes and information about local member clubs. The registered association is run by a board and holds an annual general meeting.
