Founded in 1981, the non-profit aquarium association organises lectures, excursions, themed evenings and other aquarium events. It has around 40 members and offers expert help to both beginners and experienced hobbyists.
Members can borrow the association's equipment and take part in the group maintaining aquariums at the city library. Activities concentrate on spring and autumn, with a summer break.
