Founded in 1971, this heart association belongs to the Finnish Heart Association network. It organises heart-health activities with the Central Finland regional heart association. Courses and peer support from trained volunteers are available for people with heart disease.
Membership is open to anyone. Activities include heart-health cafés and blood pressure measurements at pharmacies in Säynätsalo and Saarijärvi. Heart-health information and recipes are published through sydan.fi. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
