Founded in 1942, this local Finnish Lung Association group serves people with respiratory diseases, their relatives and anyone interested in lung health. It covers 21 Central Finland municipalities and offers peer support, exercise groups and expert and doctor-led lectures.
Peer groups welcome new participants on an ongoing basis. Members can join outings, and volunteers support local activities. Membership categories include adults, young people, children, family members and supporters. Holiday weeks at Lapinniemi and Suviranta can be booked through a partner association.
