Founded as a telephone company in 1898, the organisation adopted a cooperative structure in the 1950s. It has around 10,000 members and owns Kaisanet Oy, KaisaTowers Oy and DataEnter Oy. The group provides telecommunications, data centre, cloud and software services, including tailored IT services for businesses.
ICT services cover Kainuu and Ylä-Savo, while IT services are available nationwide. Members receive benefits through Kaisanet Oy. The cooperative publishes financial statements and audit reports.
