The local branch of the Trade Union of Education in Finland represents around 700 teachers, from early childhood education to higher education and the private sector. It handles local collective agreement advocacy and makes proposals, initiatives and statements to education providers and decision-makers.
Members can take part in meetings, training, lectures, celebrations, trips and wellbeing, cultural and sporting activities. The association has sections for early childhood, general education and vocational teachers.
