Founded in 1969, this member association of the national Taito federation promotes Central Ostrobothnian crafts as both culture and a livelihood. It runs courses, workshops, vocational training and basic education in the arts with a focus on crafts. Exhibitions, events and cultural tourism services are also part of its work.
Activities are open to everyone, and membership is available. It sells craft materials and products, supports craft entrepreneurship and offers rehabilitative work activities and workplace wellbeing activities.
