This family-run bakery-confectionery in the Julkula district bakes by hand from domestic grain, producing nearly 40 different products daily: breads, buns, coffee pastries and confectionery. It specialises in sourdough baking without baker's yeast. The bread range includes rye breads and multigrain loaves such as Viljo 7-grain, Porkkana (carrot) and Martta malt bread, and Viljami 7-grain and carrot buns are sold too. Products carry the Finnish Swan ecolabel for domestic ingredients and workmanship.
Cafés in Julkula and Puijonlaakso and in Vuorela, Siilinjärvi, offer eat-in or takeaway. The Vuorela café serves a soup lunch from Monday to Saturday, including a drink, bread, coffee or tea and a small dessert. A separate gluten-free bakery in Vuorela supplies gluten-free products to all Aeto outlets. Catering proposals are available for events and celebrations.
