The family business began as Salme Burtsow's home bakery in 1980 and has been run by Sami and Susanna Virtanen since 1993. Cakes, savoury sandwich cakes, pastries and cardamom-rich buns are handmade using ingredients including butter, milk, cream and eggs. Most products are available gluten-free.
The small café and shop are located in a K-Citymarket building. Online orders are collected from either of the two shops within 3–30 days; some products can be ordered by phone for next-day pickup. Custom cakes, celebration buns and savoury snacks are offered. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
