The association was founded in 1978 and aims to make Greek history, present-day life, culture and society known in Finland. It also works to promote contact between Finland and Greece and Greek people.
It belongs to the national federation of Finland-Greece associations, which has 11 member associations across the country and about 1,000 individual members. New members are welcome to join in the activities. News and activities are posted on its Facebook pages, and contact goes through the chairperson.
