Founded in 1981, the motorcycle club welcomes anyone interested in motorcycling aged sixteen or over, without requiring ownership of a bike. Its more than 300 members take part in riding courses, group rides, trips, fair visits and bowling. It has belonged to the national motorcyclists' organisation SMOTO since 1990.
Members can use winter storage in the club garage and attend weekly winter gatherings. The club provides traffic control at sports events and works with police, insurers and motorcycle dealers to promote riders' interests.
