Established in 2005 and registered in 2006, this private foundation supports research, treatment and publications concerning respiratory and lung diseases and indoor air. It aims to support quality of life and equal participation for affected people and their relatives.
Grants go to individuals and research groups in North Savo. The Kerttu and Kalle Viikki Fund supports care and research into children's lung diseases. The board decides on grants, with the programme confirmed annually at the autumn meeting. Donations and bequests are accepted.
