The regional association of the Finnish Union of Education Professionals brings together teachers from early childhood to adult education in North Savo. With about 3,700 members, it advocates for education resources and development and arranges training, film evenings and meetings with MPs.
Office visits are generally arranged in advance with the regional secretary. Meeting rooms are available to local associations and workplaces, and individual members can hire them. Regional working groups cover early childhood education.
