The trade union for private service sector workers negotiates about 30 collective agreements. Members include shop assistants, cleaners, waiters, cooks, property maintenance staff, guards and drivers. Shop stewards and employment advisers assist with pay, hours, holidays and dismissal.
Membership includes career and training services and access to the service sector unemployment fund. The online portal handles contact details, membership payments and unpaid leave notifications. Student membership and an online learning environment are also available.
