This regional district of the Finnish Heart Association brings together local heart associations in Savo. Member associations organise exercise, outings, lectures and discussion groups. Courses and peer support from trained volunteers are available for people living with heart disease.
Personal advice on lifestyle, nutrition and heart health is offered by email and phone. Lectures take place online and locally, while sydan.fi publishes information and recipes meeting the Heart Symbol criteria. Educational activities are supported by the Sivis adult education centre. The entrance and some seating are wheelchair accessible.
