The Esikoislestadiolainen (First-Born Laestadian) revival movement is named after Lars Levi Laestadius and bases its teaching on the Bible and the teaching of Christ and the apostles. It is active mainly in the Nordic countries and North America, and also in Russia, the Baltic states and Central Europe. Its central place is in Swedish Lapland, where the Laestadian revival began.
Gatherings are open to everyone who wishes to hear the word of God. They begin with hymn singing, prayer and the reading of a Laestadius sermon, followed by a preacher speaking on a Bible text, and end with prayer and hymns. The movement does extensive child and youth work. A contact person is listed on the website. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
