Sakari Tohka's 1954 bronze sculpture depicts a standing nude young woman holding a lingonberry sprig in her right hand. Cast from a plaster version, the 1.7-metre figure stands on a grey granite base. Its subject comes from a Kalevala poem interpreted as a Finnish national-romantic version of the Virgin Mary.
The sculpture is at Alatori, in the centre of Jan-Erik Andersson's pergola work. It was moved there from the town hall park in 2015.
