Founded in 1930, the amateur radio club belongs to the Finnish Radio Amateur Association. It runs two voice repeaters, a DMR repeater and an APRS digipeater on Radiomäki and participates in the Päijät-Häme village radio project supporting local emergency preparedness.
The clubroom is in Radiomäki's old radio station building near the Radio and TV Museum. Its OH3R station operates at the museum with volunteer duty sessions. An electronic newsletter is published roughly every 3–4 weeks and can be ordered by email. The entrance and car park are not wheelchair accessible.
