Founded in 1947, this member association of the Finnish Rheumatism Association supports people with rheumatic and other musculoskeletal conditions and their relatives. It provides peer support, guidance and information about conditions and treatment. Activities include exercise and hobby groups, social gatherings, trips, lectures and courses, with partners including Sivis Study Centre, local associations and the national organisation.
Volunteers run the activities, with opportunities to lead groups or help at events. Meeting premises near the market square can be hired for celebrations and other events. Membership fees are paid to the national association's account. The association also has Facebook and Instagram accounts.
