Run by South Savo Vocational College Esedu, the training café is a learning environment for hospitality and tourism students and a taster venue for preparatory education students. It serves savoury and sweet food, snacks, coffee and tea.
Campus students and staff are the main customers, but passers-by can also visit. Students practise customer service, cash handling, food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning and food safety monitoring. Payment is by card only. The venue can also serve as a youth workshop, and accessible parking is available.
