This beer restaurant is run with Hailuodon Panimo brewery in the Pikisaari area. The building dates from 1869 and was once part of a malt factory and distillery; the site was renovated in 1997. The downstairs bar has 14 taps with organic beers and specialities from local breweries, plus wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Beer can be bought to take away from the fridge, and the menu has meat, vegetarian and vegan options.
The restaurant hall seats 50 and suits private and company events, with its own bar counter and sound system. Groups can arrange a guided beer tasting and brewery presentation. The outdoor sauna area uses sand brought from Hailuoto, and you bring your own swimwear and towel. Weekly cultural events include concerts, stand-up and dance nights. Groups of more than 10 can book a table. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
