Anna Tahkola's three-part sculptural installation stands on Toppilansaari beach. Made from concrete, ceramic, steel and sand, it invites participation: visitors can shovel sand into an open hourglass and sit on a stone within the work. It can be experienced through sight and touch.
The route is sandy and downhill. Turning a wheelchair or pram near the work is difficult, though it can be viewed from further away. The nearest parking is about 260 metres away, and the nearest benches are at the beach bonfire site.
If you interacted with the installation, share your impressions in the comments for other beach visitors.
