The regional cancer association supports people with cancer and their relatives throughout illness. The non-profit belongs to the Finnish Cancer Organisations network and has local branches in several northern Finnish towns.
Support includes peer activities, conversations, courses and groups. Financial assistance, recreational trips, exercise, men's groups and peer groups for people with myeloma are also offered. The association administers foundation funds with annual grant applications.
