The local homeowners' association represents detached-house and holiday-home residents and belongs to the North Karelia district of the Finnish Homeowners' Association. It brings residents together to influence planning, the environment, safety and residential wellbeing.
Membership is available through an online form. Members gain access to national advice services, Omakotilehti magazine and a knowledge bank. The association can also organise housing lectures and events.
