Founded in 2002, the association serves people with Parkinson's disease or other neurological movement disorders and their relatives. It operates across the 16 municipalities of the Satakunta wellbeing services county and belongs to the Movement Disorders Association of Finland. Its work combines information, peer support and shared activities.
Activities include exercise sessions, bowling, card and ball games, summer gatherings and Christmas parties. The association also arranges lectures, including online talks from the University of the Third Age.
