Working across school and daycare boundaries, the parents' association brings families' views into education and upbringing discussions. It partners with the municipality on home-school cooperation and works in Finnish and Swedish with Hem och Skola. It belongs to the Finnish Parents' Association and is politically and religiously independent.
Public events address subjects such as children's digital devices and social media. A family reading challenge and book donations to schools support reading. Facebook is its main channel for notices.
