This educational association runs open clubs, camps and events for young children and primary and lower secondary pupils. Activities use experiential, nature and environmental education and are largely organised by volunteers. It belongs to Pinskuliitto, founded in 1945, and has received the Green Flag environmental education award.
Camps and school camps use the association's M/S Aina, a former trawler from Gothenburg. Bought in 1983, the vessel was restored by volunteers and returned to use in 1984. A book about its history, Pieni Pala Peräsintä, was published in 2004.
