A member of Suomen Latu, Finland's outdoor recreation organisation, the association offers hiking, walking, cycling, trail running and cross-country skiing for all ages. It has an outdoor lodge, a nature trip exhibition and nature-guide activities, working with municipal sports and culture services and local associations.
Equipment hire is available, and local trails are listed online. The association owns holiday apartment shares in Kiilopää, Ruka and Äkäslompolo. Membership applications can be made online. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
