Founded in 1902, the painting contractors' employers' association traces its roots to a painters' guild established in 1787. It belongs to the national Pintaurakoitsijat federation and brings contractors together to develop the trade. Its historic wooden clubhouse has been partly let to tenants since the 1990s.
Members have monthly meetings, sports and cultural activities, and annual gatherings. There is also a women's section and bowling activity. The association accepts membership applications and provides member benefits.
