This Lutheran parish of the Church of Finland was formed in 2009 by merging ten parishes with the local municipality. It is organised into ten areas, including Halikko, Kiikala, Kisko, Kuusjoki, Marttila, Muurla, Perniö, Pertteli, Salo-Uskela, Suomusjärvi and Särkisalo. Each area is led by a local curate together with an area council of parishioners. Halikko's church dates from the mid-1400s, and its parish appears in sources from the 1310s.
Baptisms and weddings can be booked through the parish, which also offers funeral services, family counselling, diaconal support and a church crisis chat. Certificates of church status, genealogy research, marriage impediment investigations and grave right renewals are handled too. Activities include family clubs, choirs, retreats, pilgrimages and the Manna café at the parish hall. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
