This artisan bakery and lunch café has baked by hand since 1978. The daily home-style lunch includes a large salad buffet, breads, spreads, coffee or tea and dessert. The lunch menu rotates weekly with meat, fish and vegetarian options, and gluten-free and dairy-free dishes are marked. It bakes lörtsy, kukko (a savoury pastry), breads, pies, cakes and sweet pastries, using mostly local ingredients: eggs from a local farm, flour from a regional mill and Puruvesi vendace.
From May to September there is a coffee kiosk on the Market Square. Lunch and coffee-table items are delivered to homes within 10 km on weekdays from 11:00. Products can be pre-ordered directly from the bakery, and Christmas treats can be ordered for pickup. Catering for groups and a private sauna room for up to 20 people are also available. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
