Founded in 1951, this non-profit district organisation promotes family wellbeing in South Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia. It supports and trains volunteer-led local associations. Activities include support person work, professional family services, youth work, intergenerational activities and peer support.
People can participate as volunteers, members or donors, and internships are offered. Alongside school cooperation and training, the organisation advises on child impact assessment. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
