The nature house is the starting and information point for outdoor activity routes, with maps and advice on local nature sites. It is run by Lakeuden Elämysliikunta, founded in 2008 and affiliated with Suomen Latu, the Finnish outdoor association. It develops largely accessible routes and sites.
Accessible rooms can be hired for meetings, private celebrations and events. The on-site Kyrkkis kiosk sells fishing permits. The association also rents boat places on Lake Kyrkösjärvi and welcomes volunteers. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
