The South Ostrobothnia athletics district is part of the Finnish athletics federation structure. It organises regional training camps for young athletes, including the Tulevat Tähdet camps, as well as selection and team competitions such as the regional match for 17-year-olds.
The district handles applications to host competitions, including Finnish championships and Seuracup finals. Its website publishes a competition calendar and summer achievement points for athletes.
