This Tampere theatre focuses on comedies, farces and musical comedies, and also stages stand-up and drama. Besides the main stage, shows are put on at Palatsi, in a restaurant theatre combining dinner and a show, and in an open-air auditorium in summer. The castle-like building also hosts parties and corporate events.
Tickets are sold by its own box office by phone and email, and through Lippupiste and Lippu.fi. There are group tickets, and the Kaikukortti culture card is accepted. Gift cards are also on sale. Suomen Teatteriopisto runs drama classes for children, young people and adults. There is a hearing loop and accessible seating, and the entrance, parking and toilets are step-free.
