This specialist library in Tampere, run by the Postal Museum, covers postal history, philately and other collecting. Its holdings include postal history publications, official postal publications, regulations and tariffs from the 1500s to the present, philatelic research literature, stamp catalogues from around the world, postcard publications, and Finnish and foreign philatelic journals.
Visits are by appointment only, so arrange one by email or phone well in advance. The library is wheelchair accessible. Material can also be borrowed by post as a paid interlibrary loan, and the catalogue can be searched online.
