Set in the Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing in Tampere, this café serves breakfast with coffee or tea, bread rolls, rye bread, cold cuts, cheese, egg, porridge, juice and pulla, a cardamom sweet bun. On weekdays there is a soup lunch buffet, and the in-house bakery makes sweet and savoury treats. The museum shop sells nostalgic souvenirs and small gifts.
Baked goods can be eaten in or taken away. Children get a smaller bowl of soup with an ice lolly. Soups are lactose-free or dairy-free, and a gluten-free breakfast can be arranged. Pets are not allowed indoors, but in summer dogs are welcome in the courtyard. Steps lead up to the door of the wooden house.
