This is one of the two buildings of a Tampere comprehensive school with about 500 pupils, offering general education in grades 1 to 6 and special needs education in grades 1 to 9; pre-primary runs in both buildings. Together with Kaarila School it forms the Kaarila school path, and its stated values are responsibility, community and healthy self-esteem.
The drop-off point is within 5 m of the entrance, along an uneven but lit route, and the main doors open automatically with a push button. The three-storey building has a lift that fits a wheelchair and an accessible toilet on the entrance floor. The website is also available in English.
